Banyue's 4-piece set is Yunkui Tales. No other 4-piece set is recommended, so there is no substitute worth farming.

Banyue W-Engine and skill priority
Wrathful Vajra S-rank, HP sub-stat
Banyue's Signature is comfortably his best choice, helped by the absence of useful A-Rank alternatives. Nothing exotic, just excellent numbers: an HP% mainstat for damage, 20% CRIT Rate that makes him far easier to gear (enabling CRIT DMG on Disc 4), and a Sheer DMG buff that holds 100% uptime effortlessly, unlike other Rupture engines. He leans on it heavily to stay meta-relevant.
