Best Drive Disc sets for Zhao

Zhao's best 4-piece set is Bunny in Wonderland. Astral Voice is the alternative.

   Bunny in Wonderland Best in slot

   4-piece: When the equipper is a Defense character: When the equipper launches an EX Special Attack or any squad member triggers a Defensive Assist or Evasive Assist, all squad members' DMG increases by 6%, stacking up to 3 times, lasting 25s. Stacks decay one at a time, and duration refreshes when gained or decayed. Passive effects of the same name do not stack

   2-piece: HP +10%. Drops from Dragon Taming Chariot.

   Astral Voice

   4-piece: Whenever any squad member enters the field using a Quick Assist, all squad members gain 1 stack of Astral, up to a maximum of 3 stacks, and lasting 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of Astral increases the DMG dealt by the character entering the field using a Quick Assist by 8%. Passive effects of the same name do not stack

   2-piece: ATK +10%. Drops from Monster Duet.

2-piece options

For the 2-piece slot the bonus matters, not the set's name. Several sets share the same 2-piece bonus, so Zhao can take it from whichever one you have spare pieces of:

• HP +10%: any of Yunkui Tales or Bunny in Wonderland (they give the same bonus)
• Energy Regen +20%: any of Swing Jazz or Moonlight Lullaby (they give the same bonus)

Zhao main stats: Disk 4, 5 and 6

Disks 1 to 3 always roll HP, ATK and DEF as their main stat, so the choice is on 4, 5 and 6. A > means "better than"; = means the two are about as good.

Zhao substat priority

Roll for HP% and Flat HP first. A disc showing neither of those is rarely worth levelling for Zhao, whatever else it has.

Bunny in Wonderland drops from the Dragon Taming Chariot Area Patrol stage. The other set it drops, Notes From the Chained, is not part of Zhao's build.

Zhao W-Engine and skill priority

Half-Sugar Bunny S-rank, HP sub-stat

Zhao's signature is a standout: the HP% mainstat makes the Initial Max HP threshold for full buffs easy to reach, its Energy Regen allows near-full Ether Veil uptime (and thus her Additional Ability's DMG Bonus), and it adds 10% ATK and 30% CRIT DMG. Not required, but a big upgrade.
