Best Drive Disc sets for Zhu Yuan

Zhu Yuan's best 4-piece set is Chaotic Metal. Puffer Electro and Woodpecker Electro are the alternatives, in that order.

   Chaotic Metal Best in slot

   4-piece: The equipper's CRIT DMG increases by 20%. When any character in the squad triggers Corruption DMG, this effect further increases by 5.5% for 8s, stacking up to 6 times. Repeated triggers reset the duration

   2-piece: Ether DMG +10%. Drops from Monster and Weirdo.

   Puffer Electro

   4-piece: Ultimate DMG increases by 20%. Launching an Ultimate increases the equipper's ATK by 15% for 12s

   2-piece: PEN Ratio +8%. Drops from Madman and Follower.

3. 

   Woodpecker Electro

   4-piece: Landing a critical hit on an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dodge Counter, or EX Special Attack increases the equipper's ATK by 9% for 6s. The buff duration for different skills are calculated separately

   2-piece: CRIT Rate +8%. Drops from Tower and Cannon.

2-piece options

For the 2-piece slot the bonus matters, not the set's name. Several sets share the same 2-piece bonus, so Zhu Yuan can take it from whichever one you have spare pieces of:

• CRIT Rate +8%: Woodpecker Electro
• ATK +10%: any of Hormone Punk or Astral Voice (they give the same bonus)
• CRIT DMG +16%: Branch & Blade Song
• Increases Basic Attack DMG by 15%: Dawn's Bloom

Zhu Yuan main stats: Disk 4, 5 and 6

Disks 1 to 3 always roll HP, ATK and DEF as their main stat, so the choice is on 4, 5 and 6. A > means "better than"; = means the two are about as good.

Zhu Yuan substat priority

Roll for CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG first. A disc showing neither of those is rarely worth levelling for Zhu Yuan, whatever else it has.

Chaotic Metal drops from the Monster and Weirdo Area Patrol stage. The other set it drops, Swing Jazz, is not part of Zhu Yuan's build.

Zhu Yuan W-Engine and skill priority

Cordis Germina S-rank, CRIT Rate sub-stat

Seed's signature edges out the rest by a slim margin. It piles on CRIT Rate, and at max Electric DMG stacks grants 20% DEF Ignore on Basic Attacks and Ultimates; Zhu Yuan cannot use the Electric DMG part, but she makes excellent use of the DEF Ignore.
